BOAT EXHIBITORS REGISTRATION

Before registering your wooden boat, please consider this important information:

Boat exhibits are limited to boats whose main structural strength is made from wood. External applications of fiberglass, plastic, canvas, etc. are acceptable.

Make sure the photos are identified with the entrant’s name. Instead of e-mailing the photo a hard copy may be included with the registration form.

Boats will be judged on the following category:

  • Best of Simmons
  • Best of Sail
  • Best of row/paddle
  • Best of inboard/outboard powered 20ft length and under
  • Best of inboard/outboard powered over 20 ft length
  • People’s Choice

1. Print the application.

2. Fill in your information.

3. Make your check payable to: SWBS

4. Mail the completed application and your check to the address listed at the bottom of the form.

VENDOR APPLICATION

Applications are invited from individuals and businesses, commercial or non-commercial, wishing to participate in the vendor section of the SWBS. Your “wares” must be related to the event’s nautical/maritime theme. If possible vendors will be recognized in the official program and in selected articles about the Southport Wooden Boat Show. Preference will be given to applications received by June 1, 2017, and to ensure that there is a broad array of offerings. A waiting list will be maintained to fill unanticipated vacancies. Space allotments will be 12’x12’ in size and will accommodate a 10’x10’ tent/canopy/display; placement of vendors will depend on the mix of offerings. Please be advised that the vendor section may be moved from the grass to the street which would mean that coverings and displays may need to be self-supporting as the practice of staking them into the ground would not be an option due to the hard surface. Participants will be notified well in advance if this is happening.
